Why do you believe innovations in participatory democracy are important?

I believe innovations in participatory democracy are important because innovations drive change, and change is needed for participatory democracy to become as efficient as it can be in all types of settings.

What do you hope to see at the 2018 Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference?

I am excited to see people from all around the world talk about how PB has helped them engage their communities in participatory democracy, and make a change. I am excited to also learn other ways that people do the PB process, and hope to gain more insight on how to make the process better for my community.
