Why do you believe innovations in participatory democracy are important?

Government doesn’t change itself. Change only occurs because of the advancement, organization and demands of the people.

What do you hope to see at the 2018 Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference?

I hope to see a wide variety of people, especially people from communities most impacted by racism and exclusion, sharing and learning together. Advancing a unified, organized, scaling movement. Do the people run this mother….hell yeah!
