Jacinta plans to major in Biology and her hobbies include dancing, writing, eating, cheerleading, fashion, and involving her self in her school and community’s activities.

Why do you believe innovations in participatory democracy are important?

I believe innovations in participatory democracy are important because it is a way to transform communities for the better.

What do you hope to see at the 2018 Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference?

I hope to interact with other youth to get more insight on what strategies they implement to get more youth involved in participatory democracy. I would also like to see how others can think of ideas that can help further expand the possibilities of participatory democracy.
