Jake is PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research is on the causes and consequences of gentrification and displacement – and the alternatives to them. He is a research fellow at Participatory Budgeting Project, funded by the A.E. Havens Center for Social Justice. Jake also co-coordinates the Research Committee of the Right to the City Alliance.
