Kuo-ming Lin is Professor and Chair of Sociology Department at National Taiwan University. He has organized many events of citizen deliberation in Taiwan. He is undertaking participatory budgeting and other types of citizen deliberation projects as a part of community work sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. He is also a consultant to the Participatory Budgeting Project of Taipei City Government. He was honored with the “Outstanding Social Service Award” by National Taiwan University in recognition of his contribution to the development of deliberative democracy in Taiwan.
