Why do you believe innovations in participatory democracy are important?
Because it is necessary to go beyond traditional format of town hall meetings and 3 minutes at the microphone in order to nurture more inclusive, deliberative and engaging processes of participatory democracy.
What do you hope to see at the 2018 Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference?
A vibrant intellectual exchange about lessons learned from different innovations and an exploration of possible avenues to combine their best elements in our participatory democracy practices.
